    Why We ask for your Information

    Under the NCCP Act, we’re obliged to ensure that any loan, lease or principal increase to a loan we arrange for you is not unsuitable for you.

    To determine this, we will ask you some questions. The law requires us to: 1. Make reasonable inquiries about your requirements and objectives. 2. Make reasonable inquiries about your financial situation. 3. Take reasonable steps to verify that financial situation.

    How We Assess your Application

    We may decide that credit is unsuitable if – at the time of the assessment – it seems likely that it doesn’t meet your requirements and objectives. Or if it’s likely that you couldn’t pay or could only pay with substantial hardship.

    For these reasons, we might ask you for a lot of personal information. It’s vital that the information you give is accurate.

    Accessing your Credit Assessment

    You can request a copy of the credit assessment of your application within seven years of the date of the loan contract, lease contract or principal increase. But we’re only required to supply it if a loan or lease contract is entered, or the credit limit is increased.

    We’re continually improving our customer service and take complaints seriously. If you have a complaint, you can let us know by:

    We aim to resolve complaints quickly, so you feel satisfied and they don’t escalate further.

    Our External Dispute Resolution Scheme

    If we’re not able to reach an agreement on your complaint, you can refer it to an ASIC Approved External Dispute Resolution (EDR) Scheme, listed above.
